Biography

Adjunct Professor and Deputy Director of the Instituto de Saúde Colectiva (ISC) of the Fluminense Federal University (UFF). Doctor in Public Health at the Sergio Arouca National Public Health School (ENSP) of the Oswaldo Cruz Foundation (Fiocruz). Master in Public Health by ENSP/Fiocruz in the area of concentration in Planejamento and Management of Systems and Health Services.

She was stockholder of the National Council for Scientific and Technological Development (CNPq). Specialist in Work Psychology at the Federal University of Minas Gerais (UFMG), Family Health and Basic Care Management (Multiprofessional Residency at ENSP/ FIOCRUZ). Psychologist, graduated from the Federal University of Juiz de Fora (UFJF). She was an organizational psychologist at the Permanent Education Coordination of the Hospital Foundation of the State of Minas Gerais (FHEMIG).

She is a member of two research groups: “Governance and national responses of the BRICS to Covid-19: paths, challenges and goals for health systems in unequal contexts” and “Public-private relations in Latin American health systems: dynamics, characteristics and implications for health inequalities”. Moreover, she is a member of the Brazilian Collective Health Association (ABRASCO) and the Latin American Studies Association (LASA).
