This article presents part of a research that seeks to approach and reflect on the daily life and work of people and groups inserted in the economic cycle of Brazilian agriculture, highlighting challenges related to climatic changes and working conditions, which may be producers of vulnerabilities and adaptation of populations that live in the sector. Maranhão, Mato Grosso and Rio de Janeiro.

Elaborated for the book organised by GPTEC (Grupo de Pesquisa Trabalho Escravo Contemporâneo), linked to UFRJ (Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro) in partnership with UFMT (Universidade Federal do Mato Grosso). It is anticipated that it will be published by the end of the first semester of 2026.
